Problem with filesystem mount

When i try to monitor filesystem that exists , hyperic check says it doesn't...

i see this error:

The configuration has not been set for this resource due to : Invalid configuration: Error retrieving value: Failed to invoke getMountedFileSystemUsage[/com/pel01]: /com/pel01 is not a mounted filesystem: /com/pel01

in the logs i see:

ERROR [Thread-0] [MeasurementCommandsService] Error getting real time measurement: Error retrieving value: Failed to invoke getMountedFileSystemUsage[/com/pel01]: /com/pel01 is not a mounted filesystem: /com/pel01

so pretty much the same, as you can see, this IS mounted filesystem and hyperic user has rights to it

$ df -k /com/pel01
/com/pel01 (/dev/vg_pel01/ap01 ) : 209715200 total allocated Kb
82337504 free allocated Kb
127377696 used allocated Kb
60 % allocation used

i can list contents of this directory etc. as hyperic user.

any idea what might be wrong?

also:

i've tried this on two different hosts:

Solaris 10 and HP-UX 11.11

two different hyperic versions: 4.1.2 and 4.2.0

other checks for these and other hosts are working fine.

Hi,

I too face the same problem on one of servers for mount folders .

Did you get to know the root cause or solution for  this ?

Thanks a million in advance !!!

Kind regards

Mano

I know this is an old post but just thought I'd put my two cents in here in case anyone else looks for it.

this won't help you if you're looking to track disk space of a mount but if you're just looking for availability of a mount then FileServer Directory tree works.
