When trying to startup hqagent ( no JRE ) I get an error box stating the msvcr71.dll cannot be found. Placing a copy of this in C:\Windows fixes this. Does anyone know why this is a problem?
Just to provide more details, I am using the latest hyperic agent on Windows 2003 and java 6. Everything is upgraded to latest versions. I can install/uninstall the agent as a service but hq-agent -s fails.
