Postgres --> mysql

i've tried to find instructions on upgrading our backend hyperic postgres engine to mysql

where can i find documentation, or if anyone know the switch could they post it

There is no supported migration utility from PostgreSQL to MySQL at this
time. If you wish to use a different data store, a new installation of
HQ is required, meaning a re-implementation of existing configuration.

I'm thinking this would be a fantastic addition to v4. Much like GPS devices, CAD drawings, and whatnot all have interchange formats, perhaps HQ could have a "Dump config" with a corresponding "import config". Later down the road a metric data dump/import could be added, but for me at least the main issue is having to set up all those alerts and collection intervals, etc. When you get into triple-digit systems, this is a non-trivial task.
