I have a number of interesting problems trying to set up agents with my infrastructure. this one relates to the ip address assigned to a platform dureing the auto discovery.
My servers have many ip addresses assigned to them, mainly for admin and private server to server communications.
When a platform is autodiscovered I am finding the the ip address assigned to a server is the servers private ip address.
I am not sure that this is specifically impacting the monitoring capability, but it certainly looks very wrong when displayed through the HS servers browser console.
The agent.properties have set
platform.fqdn
platform.name
platform.ip
plus agent.setup.ip etc
Anyone any ideas or suggestions on how this can be changed?
