Top Level Platform tab

When I type in the Name field, no resources appear. The fact that the Type menu only includes Network Device & Network Host suggests a regular host like a storage server can't be a top level resource.

By Dependent Platform tab

When I type in the Name field, no resources appear. The fact that the Type menu includes Linux suggests regular hosts can appear.

Is there an easier way to define a simple dependency chain like:

http1 -> dns, httpd1, network

httpd1 -> host1

host1 -> storage, network

[admin]

For Network and Host Dependency Manager you have to configure a platform with "Network Device" type and select hyperic agent to collect device metrics.

Do you have this platform ?
