At the moment, you could not create a stacked chart of different metrics. You are certainly not the only one looking for this feature. We are evaluating the ability to present multiple metrics on the same chart via the product or in a report.
This metric chart is actually one of a group of resources and one specific metric. So if you want to compare the same metric across different resources, group them in a compatible group and click on a metric to see its full chart.
Ok, so I can create a metric chart for a group of resources for one specific metric.
Can I create chart which would contain those metrics from the same resource? - CPU Idle - CPU User - CPU System - CPU Wait
And possibly the same with all the memory metrics, number of mysql commands per type, the usual stuff, you know...
I'm currently evaluating different monitoring solutions and Hyperic HQ is one of the only one that won't allow me to create such charts... (to my knowledge)
This is probably due to the fact that each solutions I evaluated (so far) use rrdtool to render charts.
