Does anyone know how one could define an alert based on an application alert written to the Windows application log (i.e. visible in the Event Log Viewer)?
Each the alerts written to the event log are of type Error, they contain a consistent text string (i.e. SRM) and specific event id number (i.e. 3009).
I would want to create alert for any of these entries in the event log but can't see any info on how or if I can.
Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but I have searched for quite a while and couldn't find anything relating to alerts on Events in Windows.
