Is anyone able to get the vmware plugin to work with a VMWare GSX 2.x server? Performing a forum search doesn't return anything helpful regarding this version of VMWare server. Also, looking at the Hyperic documentation on Hyperforge references a 2.x version of ESX, but not GSX.
The vmware plugin successfully loads, but when I try to manually discover vmware from the command line on the VMWare server, it returns "0 server found". Near as I can tell, it's because GSX 2.x doesn't utilize the libvmcontrol-helper library that the plug-in requires.
If it can't be done, that's fine...just want to make sure I'm not missing anything.
