Hello,
I am using Hyperic 5.8 to monitor Weblogic web-server concurrent user sessions upto certain level and then if it reaches a threshold trigger a vCO workflow. So far i could understand that Hyperic is not able to monitor user session.
I wanted to know if this possible , how can it be done.
Need your help !!!
Thanks

There is a metric called Current Active Sessions for weblogic which monitors the weblogic server sessions.
Thanks for the good news.. i was gone hopeless for weblogic web server.
However while i searched on the Hyperic server, could not locate exact metric mentioned out listed below
I may be missing something and need your help to find it!!!
i am looking for Weblogic 10.3.3 to be monitored.
Appreciate for help!!!

Hi,
"Active Current Sessions" should be under WebApp Service.
Hey Thanks alot!!!!
Is there any direct integration with vCO for trigger of Remediation workflow?

The only way is through a script that will call the VCO workflow.
As you may know Hyperic is part of vC Ops and in vC Ops 6.0 (will be released towards the end of H1 2014), there will be an automation framework that will link alerts to VCO workflows.

Yeah it`s sad!! but there should a way to receive alerts using SNMP or some other means which vCO can capture these alerts!!!!
also i am surprised since i could now able to add Weblogic Web server and two of it`s domains to the monitoring portal but still surprisingly not able to receive number of Active sessions and other metric related to Utilization!!!
Am i missing something here...
Really Appreciate your help !!!
