Microsoft Exchange 2003

I have started monitoring Microsoft Exchange 2003.
The receive queue size and the send queue size is always 0.
I have a vb script which creates MRTG graphs and you can see that the values vary during work hours.
Any ideas why in Hyperic the values stay zero?
