Log monitoring+ Search

Hi,

I wanted to know if there is an API/feature in HQ which can help in monitoring the logs. I wanted to get events if there are exceptions/Error in the logs. Also is there a Search API/feature/Interface where I can search configurable key words in the logs file?

you can track logfiles with Hyperic HQ:

and you can also fire alerts if a certain string in the logfiles appear and/or if you get message for a special debug level.
