Location of Old HQ Versions?

Where can I find archived HQ versions? I'm trying to determine at exactly which rev. HQ fails to run on our problematic Windows 2003 Server.

For Enterprise or the Open Source version? And are you looking for Older agents or HQ server?

If you are looking for older OSS versions of Hyperic HQ then they are all available from Sourceforge. Go to the Hyperic HQ web project at http://sourceforge.net/projects/hyperic-hq/ and go to download tab. Choose "Browse All Files". Under 3.1 you just have 3.14 available, but under 3.2 you have 3.2.0, 3.2.1, and 3.2.2, and 3.2.3 currently available. (just click on the left "+" sign by the version you want. Click on the "View older releases from the Hyperic HQ 3.2 package »" for the 3.2.0 versions. Hope this is what you are looking for....

Any reason why you need an older EE version? And specifically what
version are you looking for?

Hi Charles,

Java 1.4.2 isn't working on Solaris 2.6.
agent does not even start. See error message below for more details.

But it is not a big surprise, the documentation says Solrais before 8 is not supported.
So I had it starting anyway by using an external Java 1.4.0.
But I now have some network issue, I don't know if it is related to the java version that I am now using or if anything else is not going to work properly. I'd first like to give it a go with 3.1.

thanks for your help.

#> ./hq-agent.sh start

With this set up.
I know have this problem ...

Invalid configuration: Plugin error: Plugin class not found: com/ibm/mq/MQException (invalid classpath or corrupt plugin jar)

Which never happen on any other box.
again I think I should try 3.1 EE
so any ideas of where I could download it ?

Hi there,

I am not convinced that it is a version problem, although I have zero technical footing to stand on. Since you are a customer, I suggest you open a ticket in JIRA. This would also be the path you will need to try an older version. We do not make past versions available to the community - especially of the enterprise version!

Please do let us know here though what eventually resolves this, especially if it is relevant to the community version as well.

Thanks,
-Stacey

Opened the ticket.
The MQ series problem is just related to the MQ Java client not installed.
so doesn't seems to be related to the different JRE that I am using.

I'll get the link to the older version in JIRA.
Cheers
Thanks for your help

Hello, I've got the same problem!

"Invalid configuration: Plugin error: Plugin class not found: com/ibm/mq/MQException (invalid classpath or corrupt plugin jar)"

What does it mean that the MQ Java client is not installed?
What is the "MQ Java client"?

How can I fix the Problem?
