JBoss 4.2.2 error

I'm getting an error of;

This resource is turned off or has not been configured properly.
The problem is: Invalid configuration: Error reported by Agent @ 10.1.101.154:2144: java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: javax/management/MBeanException (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)
Please turn on the server, or fix its Configuration Properties.

I'm running on XP, installed the complete Hyperic bundle.

I have JAVA_HOME and HP_JAVA_HOME set to a 1.6 JDK in my env vars.
I'm stopped and started the Agent several times.

Any suggestions ?

Paul,

Assuming that HP_JAVA_HOME is a typo in your post, it should be HQ_JAVA_HOME.

If you did a full install, the agent is probably using 1.4, which is the JRE we include. Install without the JRE and set your JAVA_HOME and HQ_JAVA_HOME paths to 1.6 again.
