Im running hyperic 3.2.1 open source-- ARE oracle plugins allready part of

Sorry I dont know much about plugins. Are there multiple(different plugins ) for Oracle 9 and 10. Im running hyperic 3.2.1 open source-- ARE Oracle plugins alleady part of this hyperic
or do I have to download them ? If so can you give me a location and a URL that show how to install them ?? Im trying to monitor peformance and availability of various parts of Oracle.

Hey Mike,

Yes, the Oracle plugin is built in to HQ. Just offhand, I don't know when support was added for Oracle 10, so I suppose it may be possible that it was added after release of 3.2.1. I'll check on that. You might want to consider getting onto a more recent version. We're about to release 3.2.6, if for some reason you want to stay in 3.2.x However, 4.0 is now GA.

The same plugin provides support for both Oracle 9 and 10. This page has some information about the metrics the plugin supports:
