IIS and SQL Monitoring

I've got a few IIS6 and SQL2005 boxes in my organization and I'm trying to come up with a set useful alerts to notify me when there's a problem with these services or they are under unusual load. Among other things, I monitor CPU, memory, and TCP connections on the platforms, but I'm looking for something a little more specific to these servers. Any suggestions?

Also, I've got a few clustered SQL boxes, which Hyperic doesn't seem to support. The passive node can't see the quorum or shared data disks and its SQL service is unavailable/unconfigurable. Are there any workarounds for this?

Hi Brian,

the products you've mentioned are covered by Hyperic HQ:
http://support.hyperic.com/confluence/display/DOCSHQ30/Microsoft+SQL+Server
http://support.hyperic.com/confluence/display/DOCSHQ30/IIS

I don't know how to install or configure them, because I don't use MSSQL and IIS.

Cheers
Mirko
