I just installed 3.2.6 of open source hyperic ---views (top get no results

I just installed 3.2.6 of open source hyperic server-- using views ( and executing top get no results for a Solaris 10 server- blank results.. Other servers seem to be OK ... Where do I look to find out the problem is . I have restarted the agent (3.2.1) .. No help.. Other 3.2.1 agents views seem to work.

Any ideas.. Do I look on the server in some logs or on the client .. where ???

Any help would be apprecaited .

I also see that for all the platforms that return information for top that everything is accurate except that the cpu % for all the processes is zero.. Run a top command on the remote system produces the same list of processes but it does show cpu % for the proccesses.

Thanks for reporting this issue. You are correct about cpu % for individual process, they are always reported as 0.0%. I have logged a bug for this -> http://jira.hyperic.com/browse/HHQ-2678.

I am unable to reproduce top not reporting any data from Solaris platform. You can check agent.log to see if its getting the command request from server to run top. Also can you try to upgrade your agent from 3.2.1 to 3.2.6, there are many important agent fixes between these 2 releases.
