In the Hyperic website, Server OS requirement (windows platform) is mentioned as 2003 Server and Agent OS requirement (windows platform) is mentioned as XP or 2003 Server.
I installed Hyperic HQ (Open Source) Server and Agent in Windows 2000. I'm able to start the server and access the web portal. But when I start the agent, I'm getting the following error message:
C:\Program Files\Hyperic\agent-4.1.2\bin>hq-agent.bat start
wrapper | Starting the Hyperic HQ Agent service...
wrapper | Hyperic HQ Agent started.
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: \bin\java

Any idea about this?
Also does Hyperic works well in Windows 2000 environment?
