Hyperic agent and monitoring

Hopefully someone here will be able to answer my question.
We are deploying Hyperic to monitor our internal and some remote servers but we have an infrastructure partner who has a different solution for monitoring and we would like to know if the agent can be monitored by another solution via SNMP.

Has anyone out there done something similar?

Maybe if you can modify the other solution to ask the hyperic agent.

Unfortunately I have no access to out partners solution. But thanks for the link.
