Hyperic Version Query + Agent Deployment

Hello Community,

I wish to use Hyperic for Linux.

I have some queries.I request the community to give

a suggestion.

Which is the latest Stable Version ?

In Hyperic Website, I saw the Version as 4.6.6 whereas In SourceForge, I found version as 5.8.2.

Whether    Should I go for    4.6.6 or 5.8.2 ?

Does the latest Version support Windows Server 2012 ?

In the older version of    Hyperic    [4.2], I use to mention    password in agent.properties.

I will configure hq-agent.sh in startup, So that whenever my System reboots Hyperic Agent

will auto-start without    any manual interference.

I came to know that, password is encrypted w.r.t latest    versions.

In that    case, How shall    I deploy multiple Agents at once, like this.

Hyperic 5.8.2 is the latest stable version. Use it, not 4.6.6. Windows Server 2012 is supported.

You can still use the properties file for multiple agent deployment, and enter your password in the properties file un-encrypted. The password will be encrypted by the agent after it runs for the first time, so that your credentials remain secure.
