Hyperic HQ-EE - baselines not collected for former Community Edition agents

We had looked at Hyperic HQ Community edition in our organization and after monitoring a few platforms with it (mostly Linux), we decided to upgrade to the Enterprise Edition to evaluate its features. One feature that is important to us is the ability to automatically generate baselines for dynamic metrics. While any platform that has been added after we upgraded to EE has been collecting baseline metrics automatically, none of the platforms that originally were discovered under Community Edition are automatically collecting them (I can manually collect them, but we are interested in auto-generation of them). Here are the things that I have done so far:

* upgraded the platform's agent via agent control commands (to push the EE agent out) -- that didn't work
* remove the newly-upgraded agent, delete everything hyperic on the platform, and manually install an EE agent on the platform -- that didn't work
* completely remove the platform from HQ, stop/start the EE agent on the platform, and accept auto-discovery of the platform -- that didn't work either

Can anyone tell me how to get former community-edition-discovered platforms to start auto-calculating baselines? Any help is greatly appreciated.

BTW, we are using Hyperic HQ 4.1.2-EE on the server and the agent is version/bundle 4.1.2-EE-1053

I just added a similar post to the Hyperic HQ bug forum since maybe this is a bug. If I find anything out, I will re-post the info here.
