Dear all,
Currently I am working on Hyperic 4.2.0.7
I was able to successfully configure and run Hyperic Agents in Windows Server 2003 and 2008 .
When I tried to run Hyperic Agent 4.2.0.7 in Windows Server 2012 Server - 64 Bit , I am getting error like
"JVM cannot start, Unable to find Java Path"
Jdk 1.7 was installed already.I tried configuring Hyperic Agent with JDK 1.7 but
we were getting the error like
"JVM cannot Start, Unable to execute Java"
JDK 1.7 was uninstalled and installed JDK 1.6.I tried configuring with JDK 1.6 through a
number of ways.
Ialso mapped the IP Address with the hostname in the hosts file.But specifically
for this VM [OS: Windows server 2012] agent is not able to start.
JAVA_HOME was configured to C:/program files(x86)/Java/jdk1.6.0_22
In stackoverflow forums it was mentioned like, the error
"JVM cannot Start, Unable to execute Java"
may happen due to trailing characters [space].So I copied jdk folder to C:/ and configured that as well.
Unfortunately that did not work. After that it was showing error like
"No token file found, waiting for Agent to initialize"
It is keep on printing same message, but agent never starts.
Can any one please suggest me a solution or it technical limitation that Hyperic Agent 4.2.0.7 cannot run on Windows Server 2012 Server - 64 Bit ?
Hyperic Server 4.2.0.7 is installed in BOSS [ Debian Wheezy - 64 Bit]
