I need to monitor the contents of a log file for errors...not a problem. What is a problem is that the file name changes daily and assumes the date as part of its name (i.e. c:\testfile-2009-03-16.log for today, yesterday's was c:\testfile-2009-03-15.log, etc.). I can understand that I will probably need to do this in an XML plugin, but what kind of format would I use (I'm no XML expert I'm afraid).
Any pointers or tips would be appreciated.
