We've been using hyperic-hq for quite a while and found out that an inventory feature could be a useful thing. There is a bunch of separate programms doing this (most of them commercial but see Dude http://www.mikrotik.com/thedude.php) but why not just click on a "Platform" in HQ and see all the things you wrote about it yourself (not only things HQ already know from autodiscovery) - hardware details, whos using it, licences etc.
What do you think - would it be a tough thing to do? I'd like to make my own plugin for that but don't know HQ internals if it's worth start diggin' in.
