Hard disk activity and mysql number of queries monitoring with hyperic

It there a way to monitor hard disk activity
and mysql number of slow queries, number of all queries per second?

The disk activity is a platform service named FileServer mount. You can view these both from the resource viewer page for that platform. Select the FileServer Mount Service and Mysql and then select all metrics and you can add them into the indicator view.
