HQ 3.2b4 install problems

I downloaded the beta and ran into install problems. The server layout is:

Solaris 10 x86 under a zone
CSW PostgreSQL 8.2 separate DB
Sun default JDK 1.6

Ran setup.sh -postgresql and got no errors all worked fine. However, loading the web-page gives deployment errors.

I also changed the install script to use gtar instead of tar (to verify the archive).

Anyone know of a fix? Screenshot included

Hi,

Can you attach "hq-install.log" and "server.log" files?

Thanks.

Sorry, had to trash to get something running so went to stable. I had a few of my friends duplicate the problem. Shouldn't be hard to do the same under a virtual machine.

And stable works ok? If so, we need to see if there's a bug in the beta that has not yet been addressed.

by the way, what is CSW PostgreSQL?

Edit: never mind, I found it on blastwave.

I just logged this into Jira: http://jira.hyperic.com/browse/HHQ-1528

From the looks of the original screenshot the server failed to start correctly. Unfortunately, the information provided in the screenshot is not enough information to diagnose. Next time you run into something like this attach the server log so we can diagnose.

Thanks,

Similar/Same error here.

System is FreeBSD 7.0-PRERELEASE (use symlinks; fully binary compatible with 6.x), PostgreSQL 8.2.6 from ports, jdk15 port with diablo.

I've attached install and server logs.

Wait - I thought your HQ server was running on Solaris?
