I 've downloaded and tested Hyperic standard version, it's been running for a while without any issue till last week, we were continuously receiving false alarms by e-mail notification saying some of the windows service failed (availability value changed).
I 've found that some times the hyperic agent service just stopped running on the client. Is there an easy way to troubleshoot this?
Hi, yes you can troubleshoot it on the Agent side. If the Agent crashes it leaves some files in the HQ Agent directory. The name of the file is according to this filename "hs_err_pid10163.log". It would be great, if you post such a file in the bugs forum with a short description of your environment.
