Escalation, and Master/Slave servers in Hyperic

These two features have been brought up serveral times to me. Escalation, email admin on call first, if no up alert occurs email admin2 and admin3, or if I can for example between 8am-6pm email Bob, and 6pm-8am email Jim an alert.

Secondly is a master/slave server system. I have one big machine which holds the main database, and several slaves which write to the master (similiar to how DNS operates). Does Hyperic currently support a master/slave setup?, as the question was raised in a meeting concerning hyperic.

Alert escalation is scheduled for HQ 3.0 and is in this bug:

http://jira.hyperic.com/browse/HQ-295

HQ Enterprise Subscription can run in a clustered server environment.
This configuration has a cluster master and data processing nodes which
accept data from HQ Agents.

Can you point me in the direction of some documentation on the
clustering in the 2.6.29 release? I can't seem to locate anything.
