I need to prune the amount of log files on our server. May I delete the IIS log files without adversely affecting the metrics within Hyperic HQ? Does Hyper HQ use the IIS log files?
HQ collects its metrics from the agent, and records them in a db. So unless you are using log tracking and setting alerts for IIS, HQ should still be able to get the data.
