Display the Process Cpu Time from apache tomcat 6.0 in percentage

Greetings of the day...!!

Iam very much new to hyperic tool.Iam currently implementing poc with gemfire and hyperic as a monitioring tool for gemfire cacheservers and spring tc server(apache tomcat 6.0).

The problem here is when iam monitoring the metric data for Process Cpu Time for a tomcat 6.0 it is displaying in years and days which couldn't able to understanding how it was calculated.

I am very much thankful to you all if you can explain how it could be calculated and how can i get this metric data(Process Cpu Time ) in percentages(%).

I have to display Process Cpu Time metric value in percentage(%) on the graph please explain me the procedure to do this.

a bug report for the cpu time issue already exists

If you want to display other metrics, for example percentage values for process cpu times you will have to modify the plugin itself and do the calculation within the plugin.
Unfortunately you can not change to display an absolute value as a percentage value in the GUI.
