Hi,
HQ's auto-discovery discovers components running on one host. Has there been some work to discover dependencies of components on other components running on other hosts or even services offered by different administrative domains.
For example, consider a web app in Tomcat that relies on some middleware component or web app on another host, a Web service offered by a different organization.
If that has not been done, can someone with more experience share his thoughts/ideas on what would be needed to extend auto-discovery (and the inventory model?) in this way?
