Define Stateless Session EJB Monitor

As I'm going through the task of making our "currently down" view more accurate, I'm perplexed by "JBoss 4.0 Stateless Session EJB (79)". The rest of the services/servers in that view are items from inventory that we've added.

"4.0 Stateless Session EJB " refers to hq-session.jar and hq.ear, neither of which are services we're running or maintain.

With the objective of cleaning up "currently down" view and accurately monitoring services, does anyone know what is actually being monitored?

HQ Version: 4.1.2-EE (build #1054

Hi,

Those are from Hyperic's monitoring of itself. Sounds like you upgraded from an older version? If so then there will be some of these left behind. It's safe to just delete them from inventory.

Thanks. Do you know if it's documented that Hyperic uses this? I can do the research, just wondered if it's documented.

Based on your response, I'll be removing them from inventory. THANKS!
