Creating alerts for multiple systems at the same time --Can hyperic do it ?

If I create an alert for a process or agent for say "availability" under the open source ,
or for the EE version , can this alert that is defined for 1 solaris system, be used to monitor all the rest of my Solaris systems or do I have to create separate alerts for each system ???

I see that I can do various tests of systems but as of now I am just configuring them on 1 system. Need to be able to do this to a multiple of like systems ...

Yes, you can do this with HQ-EE. You can apply an alert to all resources of the same type (i.e. Solaris platforms). You can also apply an alert to every member of a compatible group.

Mike - I don't believe you can. The Enterprise version has the ability to address resource groups as an entity.

Brad is correct. You can only do that in the Enterprise.
