Cisco PIX/ASA autodiscover not populating Services with Cisco PIXOS Interfa

Quick background - i installed Hyperic 4.1.2 in Windows first to play around with it some and was sucessful at adding both a cisco pix and cisco asa as a platform, and going back and adding the correct configuration properties (snmpversion v1 instead of v2). This would poplulate Services with all of the interfaces of the PIX/ASA which I could then get throughput metrics on.

I decided to install Hyperic 4.1.2 on my Linux CentOS box and install the agent and perform the same exact setup, however it doesn't appear to be auto-populating the Services with Cisco PIXOS Interfaces as it didn in Windows.

Any ideas? I've been tailing agent.log on the agent being used to monitor these PIX's and ASA's in question.

Thanks!
Albert

Did you ever figure out a solution?

I'm having the exact same problem. Interfaces don't seem to be showing up for the PIX.

I do get other stats from it so I know snmp is working.

try to use the workaround from the following thread:
