This has actually been raised on the users and bugs forum, but maybe the people that would know something about it are not reading those, so I'll raise the issue here too.
Basically you can not (or the old way of doing it in 3.2 does not work) run Hyperic 4.0.1 on path such as http://localhost:7080/hyperic, for example for proxying purposes.
