Hi,

Can you tell me whether Hyperic can do the following ?

Can I run Hyperic on a remote server in one domain, and use it to monitor exchange and IIS implementations at a remote site on another domain by way of some kind of agent application on the IIS/Exchange box ?

I know that alot of monitoring apps need to be on the same domain as the boxes being monitored for authentication reasons.

As long as you provide an open (secure) port from domain to domain, it can definitely do that. In fact, for enterprise customers, Hyperic also helps manage their Hyperic environment remotely (if they want) to provide better information and support for our customer support function. Its definitely possible. You just have to wade through your security.
