Availabilty alerts

Hello,

We have used Hyperic for a while and have a number of basic alerts setup and working correctly. We are using Hyperic HQ version 4.4.0

One of these is for platform availability.

We have this setup as follows

If Availability<100%
5 times in 15 minutes
send email

What we are now looking to add is an additional alert to another address that only activates if the platform is unavailable for a continuous period of 30 minutes or more.

We cannot determine how this should be setup or if it is possible either as an alert or an escalation.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Hi Spencer,

I think an escalation should do the job. I know there are quite a few documents regarding escalaitions, but this one should be a good start.
