Auto Discovery devices not being discovered - MSI install

I used GPO on two devices, with no luck nothing shows up.

One windows XP, one server 2003 SP1 64 bit

I also did a manual install on another XP computer, and put in the IP address of the server and agent and user name.

Nothing.

Anyone?

What build are you installing? There were many fixes that went in to last nights new build 631 - or 3.2.1.

Great, how do I indicate the IP address and user name for the server via the GPO MSI

When I used it the *.msi fired off a config applet.

When you added the MSI to GPO?

Whoops, I misread that. I haven't done GPOs yet. Guess the *.msi would need to be edited to set the properties for agent.properties for your site.

Perhaps Orca could be used for this. I'm poking around into it now, out of curiosity. Our company does use SMS, so a scripted *.msi would be great for deployment. 🙂
