ADMC0053E error while acessing Websphere

Hello,

I´m testing the hyperic websphere support with the trial version 2.7 (for windows) and I'm getting some problems doing It´s configuration. This websphere is the version 6.1 express edition, the SOAP_CONNECTOR_ADDRESS is 8880 (as default) but the agent.log is saying:

2007-03-01 20:18:10,836 ERROR [MeasurementCommandsServer] Error getting real time measurement: ADMC0053E: The system cannot create a SOAP connector to connect to host localhost at port 8880 with SOAP connector security enabled.

I tried to define a userid and password at soap.client.props to set on Configuration Properties screen, but this message is still appearing.

the "directions below" says:

The HQ Agent must be run using the IBM JDK to monitor WebSphere:

% export HQ_JAVA_HOME=/opt/IBM/WebSphere/AppServer/java
% hq-agent.sh start

is it the problem? because i tried to set the JAVA_HOME and the HQ_JAVA_HOME and the system shows a error message saying that not finding the MSVCR71.dll...

could someone help me?

thanks

Renato...

Hi Renato,

Try turning on debug log in the agent.properties:
http://support.hyperic.com/confluence/display/DOCSHQ27/HQ+Agent+Configuration#HQAgentConfiguration-a...

There will be more detailed info in the agent.log, let us know what you see any additional info that may help.
