I am a Principal Technical Architect in VMware’s Management Business Unit (MBU) go-to-market team. I’m based out of the Washington, DC ‘burbs (Reston, VA). As Principal Architect, I focus on driving adoption of VMware’s Cloud Management Platform and the overall Software-Defined Datacenter (SDDC) vision while addressing the unique mission-sensitive needs and objectives of the Public Sector community.
I have over 16 years of experience in the IT industry, including an 11-year tenure with Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, and have spent much of the last 7 years focusing on datacenter optimization and emerging cloud technologies. My background includes expertise in datacenter and cloud architectures, systems/network engineering, and leading, defining, and executing IT transformations for US-Federal agencies. I also exclusively maintain virtualjad.com, which highlights emerging cloud technologies and provides technical insight into VMware’s portfolio as well as general industry topics.
All thoughts, ideas, and rants are my own and are in no way representative of my employer.
