Brian Johnson is a Solution Architect for Intel Ethernet Products focusing on networking, virtualization and cloud technologies. He has the lead role responsible for the definition and development of networking best practices for virtual and cloud deployments technologies. Brian has over 18 years of experience in server product planning during which he has held various positions in strategic planning, technical product marketing, and product development.
Brian presents webinars, classes and keynotes around the world at various industry events such as the Intel Developers Forum, Microsoft IT Forum, Microsoft Management Summit, VMWorld, CiscoLive, HP Discover, IBM TechEdge, and numerous others.
Prior to joining Intel in 1999, Brian held various technical and marketing roles for computer VARs and was the IT Administrator at the Daily Journal of Commerce in Portland, Oregon. Brian also served as the Vice Chair for the CompTIA Server+ and council member for CompTIA+ industry certifications.
Brian holds Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University. Additionally, he has various technology certifications, CompTIA – A+, Server+, and Network+ and is a FKA Certified Master Trainer.
