Since 2019, Paul has been in Solutions Architect roles at Dell Technologies, working with Enterprise customers in New England. He is also a VMware VCP-DCV, vExpert, active blogger, and Veeam Vanguard Emeritus.
Previously, Paul worked at VMware as a vSAN/HCI SE from 2017 to 2019 working with Commercial customers. At IBM as a Storage Technical Advisor from 2009 to 2016, he worked closely with many storage customers in and near Connecticut, forging trusting relationships through innovative ways of implementing and maintaining their XIV and FlashSystem storage. He has enjoyed a variety of customer-facing roles, including first-hand delivery of dozens of hands-on VMware and Systems Management Jumpstarts. He has also been the Worldwide Technical Team Leader for an IBM Innovation Center, and a project manager for converting hundreds of inefficient physical servers into just a few virtualization blades.
He enjoys tinkering with hardware and software, blogging, photography, how-to video production, podcasting, and guest-speaking at virtualization user groups. Paul created TinkerTry.com, LLC in 2011, featuring a wealth of unique and interesting technical articles and thorough video walk walkthroughs, focusing on PCs, EVs, home tech, efficiency, and virtualization and storage for home labs.
