Hello,

I do not know of anything that would cause performance issues. However, you may just want to run a few tests with common networking configurations with and without VXLAN. I do know however, that VXLAN will probably cross your physical switch boundaries at some point, so do they require a gateway or do they understand VXLAN, or just pass it through without getting in the way?
