I also get to pick a conference to attend, so VMworld is already on my list. It looks like it is in San Francisco for 2009, I really wish it was in Vegas again. I'm interested in going to the DSA class, but I feel I can get the same material from Tim Cerling's "[VMware Infrastructure 3: Advanced Technical Design Guide and Advanced Operations Guide (No. 3)|http://www.amazon.com/VMware-Infrastructure-Advanced-Technical-Operations/dp/0971151083/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1231515029&sr=1-2]". I would like to find something that's maybe the "meca" of virtualization training. I'd like to get something that's a little mixed with Linux since I need to brush up on that. I also went to a SRM user group meeting here in Houston. It is a pretty cool product, but I have not been able to convince my employer that it would be the right choice for our DR soulution. There is a silly political battle going on at the moment on who is going to control the deisgn of DR for the company, so i'm not sure SRM would be the right fit for me right now.
