This is a friendly reminder that the End of General Support (EoGS) for VMware NSX for vSphere 6.4.x is January 16, 2022. There is an additional one year of technical guidance which ends on January 16, 2023. During the Technical Guidance phase, VMware will not offer new hardware support, server/client/guest OS updates, new Security patches or bug fixes unless otherwise noted. While VMware NSX for vSphere 6.4.x will continue to function past its End of General Support date, we encourage you to begin planning your transition to the next generation of the VMware NSX Data Center product, which is delivered as NSX-T Data Center. VMware NSX-T Data Center protects your existing investment and enables new business cases including the following:
VMware has a variety of resources that will aid existing customers of NSX Data Center for vSphere in the transition to NSX-T Data Center. Please see the Migration Resource Center for what offerings are available to you as a customer.
