To be frank thats most likley a redhat problem.

Redhat likes to tie mac addresses in the config to the network cards, while it has a purpose and I know all of that, if you do something like clone the box, or change the card, of course the networking then doesnt work.

Easiest answer is to strip the mac addresses out of the network config and it should work fine, Id expect this to be the root cause of your lack of networking until you rerun the script.
