Cannot use a Windows 10 or Windows 7 VM at all in VMware 16.1 and Ubuntu 20.04.1. VM is very, very slow and takes ages to start - it is not usable at all.
I verified with a similar computer (theoretically identical), i7/Asus with Win10 as Host and it works fine. VM in this test was the same, on USB-3 SSD disk. I also upgraded BIOS to latest and checked virtualization settings in BIOS and in VM - no help. My VM was a new one, created for this test, because old ones (Win7) didn't work either.
I have used VMware Pro and Player for 10+ years in Ubuntu and this is the first time this happens. Should I wait for VMware 16.02 or what is the problem?
