I've just gone live with View 7 in my environment and I'm facing the same thing.
The Helpdesk tool automatically logs in if you click the button from the "View Administrator" Console but won't log I if you go directly to the help desk tool via the URL
Yout just get a constant spinning wheel. I've logged it with VMware Support (today 20.08.2017) and im waiting for a response.
