I am having a similar issue. Ever since loading the 7.0.2 agent I have several machines that the mouse turns to an hour glass. The system performance doesn't seems to be an issue. It is just annoying for the user.
I have users that are still using the 6.1.1agent and they aren't having issues. I have an open case with VMware. I would ask that you also open a case with them if you haven't already. I believe this is an issue with the 7.0.2 agent.
