I have the following symptoms:
Fusion Pro 13.02 on macOS Ventura 13.5 does not start the vmware-usbarbitrator to allow access to usb devices from the virtual machines.
I have tried to completely uninstall Fusion Pro 13.02 using guidance from https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1017838?lang=en_US. Then rebooted the system, reinstalled Fusion Pro 13.02 leading to the same situation described above.
Manually starting vmware-usbarbitrator via terminal using sudo
/Applications/VMware\ Fusion.app/Contents/Library/vmware-usbarbitrator while Fusion Pro is running enable the use of usb devices within the VMs.
However, vmware-usbarbitrator should normally be started automatically when Fusion Pro is started.
Question:
How can I get Fusion Pro 13.02 to automatically start vmware-usbarbitrator as intended?
