There's no reason to attack anyone. I didn't attack anyone. I'm just looking for some resolve to a visual problem I'm having. The only reason I posted the link to Evernote is because you said font rendering is up to video drivers (only). That's not the case; for all I know vmware did something similar and used something that makes text look like that on Windows 7. I'm exploring possibilities, and looking for help.
